As Gloria Pitzer rightly said, the only thing that comes to us without any effort is old age. It is mandatory, It all starts with our Birth, and one has to become old one day for sure.
In our childhood, we are not aware of anything, Instead, we feel like, "OHH!! I can't wait to grow up and be an Adult!" and later, In our Adulthood, we feel like becoming a child all over again. we pray to god to give our childhood back to us, at least for once.
we humans pass through various stages of life, learn from several experiences and become old at the last stage of our life. we give our everything who are near and dear to us and except just love, respect and care in return.
But, Today it is seen that many elderly/Senior citizens are often neglected by their own children who were dear to them and therefore, The onus for safety and security of the elderly comes into the hands of the senior citizens themselves and the society as a whole.
Yes, It is because, You may be a senior citizen, only you can make your life better and you don't need to stay dependent on anybody and government and the society is here to help of course.

Government too should also strive to promote a better living environment for senior citizens and make the laws protecting the Life, Liberty, safety, security and interests of the senior citizens and parents especially for those who are neglected by their own children and device means to take immediate remedial and punitive action against those who neglects them.
Senior Citizens Guide to Law in India is an initiative started by LawUPNext.in with a motive to promote legal awareness among senior citizens, to those who are in need, and to make them aware of their rights so that they are able to make their life better at least to some extent. I hope this post helps someone who is really in need.
Stay Happy Stay Healthy 😇
